Handcrafted 10" x 8" Kothandaramar Tanjore Painting. Kothandaramar Temple is a Hindu temple located in Vaduvur, Tiruvarur district of Tamil Nadu, India, dedicated to Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. Thanjavur paintings are characterized by rich and vivid colors, simple iconic composition, glittering 22 carat gold foils overlaid on delicate but extensive gesso work and inlay of glass beads and pieces or very rarely precious and semi-precious gems.
